What if ALLAH loves a person!!!

If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel, saying, 'Allah loves so and so, O Gabriel love him'

So Gabriel would love him and then would make an announcement in the Heavens: 'Allah

has loved so and-so therefore you should love him also.' So all the dwellers of the Heavens

would love him, and then he is granted the pleasure of the people on the earth [see

Bukhari]

May Allah (SWT) count us amongst those He loves, Ameen!

May  ALLAH  ALMIGHTY reward us immensely, Ameen!

Islam, A complete code of life!

Islam isn't just another religion, rather it's a way of life. Therefore, if you feel sad, just be thankful that Allah has blessed you with Islam, a code of life, Alhamdulillah

(a reminder to myself first and foremost, in'sha'Allah)

May  ALLAH  ALMIGHTY reward us immensely, Ameen!

Happiness Or Sadness? Make a Choice

Both happiness and sadness do not last forever in this life. However, one of the two will last forever eternally in the Hereafter. We want the happiness aspect for eternity, but how many of us don't work hard for it? We often sin instead. We often times choose a temporary and short-lived happiness in this life by following our desires instead. Happiness or sadness, what will be our final outcome? Which one are we committed too? Are we truly committed to the purpose of life?

Sadaqa (charity) is a saving

Are you low on funds? So you think you will give sadaqa (charity) later on when you have more money? This thinking may be Shaytan trying to delay you from giving in charity! Whenever you give something for Allah, know that you will get it back:

"whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He [Allah] will compensate it; and He is the best of providers” [34:39]

So know that whatever you give now will come back to you, in'sha'Allah!

Right intention spending on your family is Sadaqa

Did you know when you spend on your family, like your children, if you have the correct intention/mindset, then you will be rewarded for it greatly, in'sha'Allah!

Abu Masud al-Ansari narrated "When a Muslim spends something on his family intending to receive Allah's reward it is regarded as Sadaqa for him" [Bukhari Vol 7, Book 64, No 263]

Be Thankful to ALLAH Almighty

Know how some people are nice to you only because of some need or they want something from you? Don't like those people, right? So don't act like them! Don't only thank Allah when you receive something you want. Rather always thank Allah! [even though in reality everything we need in our lives is from Allah (including the ability to breathe and be alive)]:

{And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me." But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."} (89:15-16)

Dua for Mercy

DUA FOR MERCY!

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

(Rabbana aman-na fagh-fir-la-na war-ham-na wa-anta khay-roor-ra he-meen)

[Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful]

Surat Muminoon (23:109).

[If you decide to use the English transliteration to memorize the dua, then please do recite it to someone who can help you with the enunciation. You can also hear the dua being recited online at http://www.tanzil.net and listening to Surat 23, Verse 109].

Khudba regarding taqwa

Many of us desire and work hard for wealth. However, realize that regardless of how much wealth we accumulate, we won't be satisfied with money, unless we accompany it with righteousness and taqwa. Indeed, we are told:

"If the son of Adam (the human being) had two valley of money, he would wish for a third, for nothing can fill the belly of Adam's son except dust, and Allah forgives him who repents to Him" [narrated Ibn Abbas in Bukhari]

Surat al-Hujurāt

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

Surat al-Hujurāt [49:13] - The Noble Qur'an - القرآن الكريم.

Charity which benefits after death

If your parents have passed away, you can still give charity on their behalf. In'sha'Allah they will benefit from your righteous actions.

Ibn Abbas narrated, A man said to Allah's Apostle (S.A.W) , "My mother died, will it benefit her if I give in charity on her behalf?" The Prophet (S.A.W) replied in the affirmative. The man said, "I have a garden and I make you a witness that I give it in charity on her behalf." [see Bukhari for actual hadith]

ALLAH ALMIGHTY knows everything

Allah knows when you do something for someone and they don't thank you.

He knows when you get up to pray in the early hours of the morning while the rest of the world is asleep.

He knows when you hold your tongue instead of being rude or disrespectful.

He knows when you don’t argue with your parents even though you know you’re right.

He knows when you do the right thing when no one is watching
.

He knows when you make duaa for others and they don't even know about it.

He knows when you do the smallest of good deeds, so small even you forget about it.

Everything in the Heavens and the Earth Glorifies ALLAH(SWT)

Hope of forgiveness - help us to be a better man

Whenever you face a trial or tribulation, recall that:

"No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn" [narrated Aisha in Bukhari]

We commit sins, but statements like these give us hope. May we arrive on the Day of Judgment with all of ours sins forgiven. Ameen.

Come to ALLAH

Were you to go to the door of the governor, he would not receive you or give you any attention, perhaps he will even prevent you from getting near him. But the King of kings "ALLAH ALMIGHTY" says ‘Whoever comes to me walking, I will go to him running,’ yet you turn away from Him and run after another! - Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali [not a hadith]

The essence of taqwa

The essence of taqwa is to make a shield (which guards) against Allah’s anger and punishment. That shield is to obey His commandments and abstain from His prohibitions… - Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali [not a hadith]

Rights of Parents declared by ALLAH Almighty

As we all know that how much ALLAH Almighty has put light on the Rights of parents -

About the rights of ALLAH and the rights of the parents. ALLAH says in the very famous verse: “wa-qaḍa rabbuka alla ta'budu illa iyyāhu wa bi'l-wālidayn iḥsāna (Your Lord has decreed…).” ALLAH didn't say, “I am decreeing this upon you” or “this is the ruling upon you.”  ALLAH is speaking as if this is a done deal and there is no dispute.
“It has been decreed before you came onto this earth.”
What has He decreed?  “Alla ta'budu illa iyyāhu wa bi'l-wālidayn iḥsāna (that you worship Him alone and that you show iḥsān to your parents)”. As we know in the Quran and the Sunnah, the rights of parents are second only to the rights of ALLAH (subḥānahu wa ta'āla) and this is enough of an indication of how important and sacred the rights of the parents are.

In order to explain this article more and wise- There is a article by Yasir Qadhi: Parents - My Biggest Door to Jannah
http://muslimmatters.org/2011/11/15/yasir-qadhi-ramadan-reminder-parents-my-biggest-door-to-jannah/

Be thankful to ALLAH Almighty

You could have been created an animal or an inanimate object but Allah created you as a human being. You could have been from the people of disbelief, but Allah granted you emaan (faith). You could have been from the ummah (nation) of any Prophet, but Allah allowed you to be from the ummah of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Will you not then be grateful? Alhamdulillah! (a reminder to myself first and foremost, in'sha'Allah)

Medicine for anxiety

Sometimes we become anxious and worrisome. We don't know why we get bothered by small, trivial matters. What's the medicine for this anxiety? We can find the answer with:

"Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest" (Translation of the Meaning of 13:28)

So next time you feel uneasy, remember Allah and your worries will dissipate, in'sha'Allah! (a reminder to myself first and foremost, in'sha'Allah)

Those who will be shaded by ALLAH Almighty on the day of judgment.

On the Day of Judgment, when the sun is so close to us and we are drowning in our own sweat, there will be a group of people who will be shaded. Allah will shade them under His Shade when there is no other shade. Who are these groups of people? They include:

(1) A just ruler
(2) A young man who has been brought up in the worship of Allah (alone) sincerely from childhood
(3) A man whose heart is a
ttached to the mosque
(4) Two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake, and they meet and part in Allah's cause only
(5) A man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for illegal sexual intercourse with her, and says: 'I am afraid of Allah'
(6) A person who practises charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given (i.e, nobody knows how much he has given in charity)
(7) A person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes get flooded with tears.

Now after reading it, ask yourself, do I fit in any of these?! May we all be amongst them, Ameen!

May Allah ALMIGHTY reward us immensely, Ameen!

Earning that could beome a witness against us.

It's very important that we try to have a halal income so that our wealth can be blessed, in'sha'Allah. After all, money that is attained by haram means (e.g. selling alcohol at a convenient store) truly could become a witness against us.

Abu Hurairah narrated, "A time will come when one will not care how one gains one's money, legally or illegally" (Bukhari Vol 3 Book 34 No 275]

(a reminder to myself first and foremost, in'sha'Allah)
(May ALLAH ALMIGHTY bless us).

Dua before leaving the house

If a person goes out of his house and says: "Bismillah, tawakkaltu ‘ala Allah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa Billaah"

"In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah,"

It is said to him: "You are guided, taken care of and protected"

So the devil keeps away from him so much so that another devil says:

"What can you do against a man who is guided, taken care of and protected?"

(narrated by Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi)

We/I Need Allah In My Life

Take a minute and think of how many companions of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) can you name right now? Now take a minute and think of how many football players or actor/actresses you can name right now? What about your children, how many companions or even prophets can they name right now? Scary, isn't it [myself included!]? Therefore, let's make it a goal of ours to learn more about our religion and the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and his great companions, in'sha'Allah! (ALLAH ALMIGHTY bless us all)
