Good deeds without sincerity is like a traveller who carries a water container full of dirt. Carrying it is a burden and brings them no benefit. - Ibn al-Qayyim [not a hadith]

May ALLAH ALMIGHTY reward us immensely, Ameen!
ALLAH Almighty has created us and the world, the heaven, the hell. And yet we neglect his commands and wills. How will we stand in front on ALLAH Almighty at the day of judgement. Along with this page we will reset our priorities, obey his commands and life our lives accordingly to Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.W) and make our homes in heaven( jannat ).

Daughter to perform Hajj for Mother's vowed
It has been narrated that a woman came to the Prophet (SAW) and said, "My mother vowed to perform the Hajj but she died before performing it. Should I perform the Hajj on her behalf?" He was reported to have said, "Yes! Perform the Hajj on her behalf. See, if your mother had been in debt, would you have paid her debt?" She said, "Yes." He was reported to have said, "So you should pay what is for Him as Allah has more right that one should fulfill one's obligations to Him." [for the actual hadith, see Bukhari]

A Muslim's Characteristics
Abdullah ibn Amr narrated, "A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue or his hands. And a Muhajir (an emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden" [see Bukhari Vol 8 Book 76 No 491]
So if we were to consider ourselves on these conditions, could we comfortably say that we fulfill this characteristic of a Muslim? How about a Muhajir? (a reminder to myself first and foremost, in'sha'Allah)

Task after Salah/Prayers
Did you know its desirable to say "Subhan'Allah" "Alhamdulillah" "AllahuAkbar" 33 times after each fardh salah/prayer? For the 100th thing, you can say "La ilaaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa 'aala kullishay'in Qadeer" So let's try to implement this awesome dhikr into our daily routine for some (or all!) of our daily prayers, in'sha'Allah!

Dua For Parents
Want a dua directly from the Quran that you can recite for your parents? Memorize the following dua then!
رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Rab-bir-hum-hoo-ma ka-ma rabba-ya-nee sa-ghee-ra
(the hum sounds like the word hum not hoom!)
My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small
This short yet very awesome dua is found in Surat al-Isra, in the latter half of verse 24 (so its at 17:24). Learn this dua if you dont know it and teach it to your kids so they can say it so it helps you too, in'sha'Allah!
If you are using the English transliteration to memorize the dua, please double check your recitation with someone or confirm it by listening to it online (for example, at a website likewww.quranexplorer.com or www.tanzil.net)

More you learn Islam more you realize
When you study the religion, you should fine yourself becoming more humbled by your studies. If you have only a little bit of knowledge, you may start thinking you know everything and start thinking of yourself as a big shot wanting people to ask YOU their questions. However, in reality, the more you learn, the more you should realize how little you truly know!

Things we need to avoid!
Often times if we come across mistakes our fellow brothers and sisters make, we feel the
urge to call them out and start thinking we are better than them. However, when it comes
to our own sins, we tend to make excuses for them and write off our own mistakes. When
will we learn? (a reminder to myself first and foremost, in'sha'Allah).

Paradise (jannah)
Know how we sometimes get tired, depressed, bored, or exhausted? Well, if we make it to
paradise (jannah) (in'sha'Allah!), those attributes of ours will be a thing of the past, as Abu
Huraira
narrated:
"He who would get into Paradise (would be made to enjoy such an everlasting) bliss that he
would neither become destitute, nor would his clothes wear out, nor his youth would
decline." [Muslim]
May ALLAH (SWT) allow us to make it to paradise and hang out there together, Ameen!

Never feel jealous or Envious, as it is not liked by ALLAH( SWT)
Know when someone you know gets a huge blessing? Instead of being jealous and upset
with Allah's decree to bestow His Blessing upon that person, try to be happy for that
person. Indeed, if you are jealous or envious, it corrupts your heart and ruins your life. So
instead be happy for your fellow human being and be thankful to Allah. Indeed Allah has
bestowed upon you numerous blessings already that you cannot even count and ones
others would love to have! (a reminder to myself first and foremost, in'sha'Allah)
